These are the photos that I took for my final exam. We were using light around campus to capture a creative photo. These are my top three. I am turning in the bottom.
This is one of my best friends from high school Andrew Polizzi. He has a variety of nick names, one of which is Quiznod. When we got this assignment, I immediately thought of him. He's had a big influence on my life intellectually, spiritually and socially. He's pretty rough around the edges, but he's one of the smartest people I know.
Okay, so I tried to pay attention in class and understand the science and importance of lenses, but most of it was Greek to me. I was extremely lost in this assignment, so I looked up what kind of lenses were best for street photography, which is what I'm most interested in. Every blog I read mentioned the Nikon brand, which I am familiar with (my first digital camera was a Nikon). Then I read that wide angle lenses are best, and beyond those two facts, I was pretty lost. I can't help it. It takes a lot of experience, that I don't have yet, to understand what lenses are good and why. I did manage, however, to spend $4,725 of my $5,000 and got 5 nice lenses plus two awesome artistic cameras I found on Urban Outfitters' Web site that I've been eye-ing forever. Below are photos of the lenses and links to the sites where I would purchase them, in order of appearance: Tamron 14mm f/2.8 Aspherical IF Autofocus Lens:http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/162054-REG/Tamron_AF69N700_14mm_f_2_8_Aspherical_IF.html
This assignment was to capture motion in photography. I was interested in the motion of light, so me and some friends got together at night and, with the bulb setting on my camera, I captured the movement of light in the dark. I created the outline of my friend Steven's body. The top photo is the one I am submitting for a grade.
I took photos of the trees lining my back yard and then focused on the stump below.

My Photographer I have chosen to make a presentation of is Chloe Richard. I admire the type of photography that she does -- basically taking photos of people she meets in her life. I originally saw her in a blog for Urban Outfitters. This is one of my favorite photos of her from her website.
